An effective Church is a church that worships and glorifies God, disciples and trains Believers, and seeks to point lost people toward Jesus Christ.

Say no to discouragement. Replace negatives with positives. Look for the good, not the bad.

Believers are called to be more than just hearers of God's Word, we are to grow and begin to look more like our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, every day.

Biblical hope is not only the desire for something good and positive, hope also expects it to happen. The hope that only God provides tells us we can be confident it will happen.

Prayer is the Believers way of having a real and personal conversation with our Lord.

We might look at this story and truly wonder if there is anything here for today's church. We need the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Satan attacked the authority of God's Word, he attacked the accuracy of God's Word, and he attacked the acceptability of God's Word. Now what do we do with the Word of God?

Believers should be concerned about how they are seen and heard. Our witness for the Lord is that important!

Mayhem - a state of rowdy disorder. What distracts us from being what God desires us to be?

Every person has to make choices daily. Have you chosen Jesus or the world?

Many people are lonely, confused, and distracted. No matter what happens around us, we can be assured that God will take care of us.

Believers need servant leaders that will help them grow in the relationship to the Lord.

Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ should be motivated to become involved in ministry!

As a young Christian we expect God to move the world around us, but as a maturing Christian we come to understand that God expects us to move the world. Share Jesus often!

A servant is one who expresses submission or debt to another. Paul shows us in our servanthood that to be in debt to Christ will help us conquer pride in our lives, help us understand our individuality, and help us to embrace the uniqueness of being a servant for Jesus.

Jesus met opposition in ministry and so will we. As we look at God's Word may we quickly recognize that ministry can be successful despite the obvious opposition.

As Believers we all need to be concerned about our spiritual health.

As Believers we are to live each day for the Glory of God. That we would serve and honor Him with our ways of living and thinking.

Neglect is a tragic situation, especially when a person neglects or rejects God's Word or God's gift of salvation.

Stewardship - a subject most of us have or draw an opinion of, for our own reasoning. As stewards we are to manage the resources and activities God has placed in our care. We glorify Him when we use them wisely.

You can expect the last of your last days to be different than the beginning of your last days.

There are some key words we need to pay attention to here in this passage. Steward - manager, overseer, Required - not volunteering, and Faithful - loyal, trustworthy, and dependable.

Since our enemies are many and strong, we should always be ready for a battle. So, how do we act when opposition occurs?

God has revealed Himself to man, and each revelation has been very important for man's understanding of God.

Everytime we come to the Lord's Table we are to honor the Lord by proclaiming His death.

The Focus of Faith is to place our trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. There are many things in life that can make us lose our focus, beware!

Most of us are not perfectionist, but there are things that bother us. Like a rough idling car, music that lacks harmony, or a picture out of focus. We too need faith in Jesus that is fined tuned, focused on Him in every way possible.

The church at Corinth was gifted, it should have been impacting people for the Glory of God. But, that was not the case as the Corinthian church was divided and weak.

Life is full of turbulent times. Thus, we can say that there will always be storms in this present life.

Life sometimes is like being stuck in the middle of a storm, and we are not sure we can handle it.
